Returns Policy

 

OUR PRODUCTS

We are dedicated to providing customers high quality products which are unused or tampered with; we have therefore adapted a strict refund policy.

Most of our products are carefully sourced and many hand-made, therefore the customer should expect some variation may occur between products when placing an order.

Our products are quality tested at the time of production, at the time of packaging and the time of dispatch so as to avoid any faulty product reaching you.

We understand online shopping can be harder than shopping in store, we therefore allow customers to return their orders within 14 days from when the goods are delivered if they change their mind, in line with your statutory rights. Please read below for further details.

ELIGIBLE CASH/CARD REFUNDS

All customers have the right to return their order 14 days from when they receive their goods, in line with the Consumer act 2015, for a full refund. We offer a credit note for customers who return their goods for any other reason other than damaged/faulty/missing/incorrect items.

Cash refunds are only issued for products that are damaged, faulty, incorrect or missing.

Please note* Credit notes will only be valid for a year from the point of issue.

  

RESPONSIBILITY & ACCOUNTABILITY

All returns will be inspected upon being received, please refrain from damaging the goods during inspection including the original packaging and labels/tags.
We do not accept liability for any goods which do not reach us. We therefore advise that any goods which are returned are done so using a recorded delivery service and proof of postage is retained. We reserve the right to refuse a return or exchange in the event of damage being caused to our goods.
Please note* It is your responsibility to ensure you're aware of our returns policy and we will not take any liability or offer any flexibility for noncompliance with this policy.

 

CANCELLATION PERIOD

In line with consumer rights, customers may cancel their order within 2 hours should they change their mind and get a full cash refund back. An email should be sent to admin@myislamiccelebration.com with order details and reason for cancellation. If the customer has been charged, the refunded amount may take 2-4 business days to return back in the account.
However, if your order has already been processed and passed to our warehouse, cancellations at this stage may be subject to an administration and restocking fee and refunds may not be made in full.

 

RETURNS PERIOD

Any customer wishing to return an item must do so within 14 days from the point of the item(s) being delivered. Any item(s) must be returned in its entirety, in its original packaging and within the 14 day deadline. Customers have the right to return their goods within 14 days from the point the goods have been delivered.

We do not currently provide free returns, therefore the customer will need to pay for this.

Any returns requested after the period of 14 days from delivery, will be refused. If such goods are still sent back to us, My Islamic Celebration reserve the right of not offering you a refund. In such a scenario, My Islamic Celebration will not issue a refund and it will be the customers responsibility to ensure a collection/redelivery is arranged to pick the item up. If the item is not collected within 10 working days the item(s) may be discarded of.

Where the customer has registered their return within 14 days, but do not return the item(s) within the 14 day timeframe, a refund will not be issued and the customer will need to rearrange a collection. Proof of returned goods sent out will be accepted as a copy of the postage receipt, so we advise customers to retain these receipts when posting their returns.

 

RETURNS PROCESS 

To be eligible for a return, you must complete the returns form here and return the item within 14 days from the point of receipt of delivery. Item(s) returned must be returned in its entirety, in its original packaging and within the timeframe outlined.
If the item is sent without a completed return form, the return will not be processed and the customer will incur a redelivery charge.
At the point of receipt, your returns will be processed within 4-5 working days and eligible cash and credit returns will be processed within 14 working days.
  

 

INTERNATIONAL REFUNDS

We do not refund shipping charges or reimburse return shipping charges.
If you are returning faulty goods, UK customers will be provided a free returns label via email. A free return label is not available for our International customers, we will therefore reimburse up to £18.99 to your order upon providing proof of shipment receipt and arrival of goods.
Please note* if the returned items are not to be found faulty or incorrect item, a deduction of £6.99 will be made to cover the cost of the return label.

RESTOCKING FEE

If the return reason is other than defective, shipping error or incorrect/missing items, then a restocking fee of £6.99 will be deducted from any refunds, credit notes or exchanges.
